Locked containers yet?

Haven’t played for awhile now and been reading a bit of the news updates looking good but I’m not sure if there is a way to lock chests or combo locks of any sort yet? Was a big issue in the server I hosted in past if anyone knows if there’s lockable containers/doors or if items dropped on your house floor will despawn or not

There are no lockable containers although if you set up a safezone unauthorised players can't open doors or windows (but they can just destroy them with physical damage)

Items on the floor will despawn eventually if left there but it's not an insta-spawn and the dev seems to have fixed the problem with bags falling through the floor some time ago

Ah so people can still get into chests even if in a claimed area mmm sorta sucks wish they added some sort of locked container or add safes that use like 10 iron ingots or something allowing security in a stronghold outpost and I remember the falling items through floor made me rage when was the most priciest items <_> and thank you on info will start back up the server with bros and public helvetia server

PVP is not the focus of this game so probably why that sort of thing hasn't been done

Locked box = Destroy so doesnt matter if locked or not, they can still be destroyed

Well more reason to have lockable containers to prevent pve thefts

Potentially not if it’s a metal safe would take a lot more resources to break into other then a stone axe XD
