shotgun mod ? .....

Does anyone have the mod for the shotgun muzzle ? What is it ? i figured that the gun mods would be hard to come by in a survival game but after 100 hours so far, i have two whole chests full of them and every gun now fully modded exept the shotgun. Anyone know ?

Currently doesn't exist even though the one shot gun has an option for it. It's been discussed in the distant past, not sure if we'll ever see it.

Well for a barrel mode which is what is appears to be I would expect a modified choke that adds range to the shot/stops it from spreading so much.
I would like to see a 25 round barrel magazine for the same shotgun. ;)

I would not expect a launcher on a shotgun.
I could see a 40mm launcher that mounts under the M4. I have a couple of them here IRL
I could see a 20mm launcher mounted to the barrel of the SKS or the AK. I have a few of them IRL as well.

The reason is that the 40mm is launched by a charged round. Meaning it is like a really large bullet with a low powder charge to lob the grenade.
The 20mm mounts to the barrel, the grenade goes over the barrel, however you have to switch the gas recoil system on the weapons so it will fire the grenade.
Ive never seen a barrel launched grenade from a shotgun and not sure how well it would work.

Before anyone asks or says anything, Im in Texas and we can legally hunt wild pigs from a helicopter with automatic weapons. Technically speaking we can legally hunt them with 20mm and 40mm grenades.

I was thinking more along the lines of using blank cartridges for a golf ball or aluminum can launcher attached to the muzzle. However, now that you have mentioned the real deal here, i want that instead. i want it bad, really bad. i think it would be easier to just add a stand alone grenade gun rather than add a new mod slot to all the other guns but whatever, as long as i get a way to send explosives down range, i am happy lolol. Hey ! how about exploding arrows ? How about a flame thrower ? ok, ok, just give me a tank.

Well there is hand grenades in the game, although not all that great. They are better for attracting zombies in a group due to their noise versus damaging/ killing them. Also have molitovs, those are fun especially if you get a zombie bee lining you while on fire lol.

I have the molotovs opened up and made two of them. i have not tried them yet. things are progressing slowly, i am trying to get the steel ingot opened and trying to figure out how to make fermented alcohol. i am purposely avoiding Youtube and asking because this game is sooooo much fun to try and figure everything out and there is such a feeling of accomplishment once things are finally achieved. it was just odd that i never found anything for the shotty and there was a slot for it.
on a side note; last night i found out that Mr glowy green hunchback guy will do some serious damage to you and infectinate you from his poof of smoke if he gets too close to you when he explodes (which is awesome, by the way)
