My Private Server Kicks Me

My rented server is appearing in the list. I log in and use the password, which works, however, just before loading into the game, it kicks me back out to the main menu. Any thoughts on this issue? I am renting from 1GServerHost.

Are you click in game the private server option which will make the game client want a restart? After you restart when clicking that option, click it again and search for your server name, it should be there then.

It appears and I can log in, what happens is it shows the initial loading window, then goes to the next loading window, and then it kicks me to the Menu Page.

@wickedbadz your comment in the other chat, "Steam doesn’t auto restart the game, just click the start button as normal and right ones running after clicking private server in game. Also Is your server on port 7777? The server allows port change but the client does not so it’s port 7777 or you cannot connect." My port is 7787, should I have my 3rd party provider change it to 7777, could this be the reason why it is kicking me?

Yeah if it's not on port 7777 could be why you cannot connect, the client refuses connection to other ports.

I got a different port working on the client. In steam click the No One Survived game, then right click properties and add this as a launch option -port=8888 or whatever your server port is and -queryport=20588 or whatever yours is, I was able to connect to my server on another port other than 7777

The provider is working on the 7777 port now. I will see if they fix it prior to trying your comment above.

Yep, once they changed it to 7777, I was able to get in. Thanks @wickedbadz for the information on this fix! Your information should be pinned so that everyone is aware of this port # issue. Thanks again!!!
