Wheres all the clay?

Having trouble when it comes to finding clay. By that i mean i can only find what i scavange from POI's. can anyone help me with where the clay nodes are and how to get them

They are the light brown boulders all over map, you'll need a pickaxe. Some areas, like the open "dirt area" near the closest trader have a bunch of them grouped up.

Nods...look at the map and notice the large tan area...find the Airplane in the middle of the map and move to the tan area directly east of the airplane...loads of ore and clay there.

what do the copper nodes look like? I have no trouble finding clay, iron and stone but cant find copper for the life of me

theres a cave thats just west of the big city on the rail road tracks going south that has a lot of clay

Yeah having the same problem as well as issues with the zoom feature of the map... its just showing me the map in general but I can't do anything with it.

There is no zoom on the map now according to the dev.

That kinda sucks, I wonder why he got rid of it. It was pretty handy to have to zoom in and actually see the airplane crashes and stuff. I can't even see them when it's zoomed out now.

Might have been a load issue of having a map with that high a resolution. I coordinate terms the old map was 2000 x 2000 and 16sq.km (4x4). The new map is 1000x1000 and 64sq so half the coord but twice the distance

well in theory the map should only display known landmarks. Stuff like mines and towns but, recent things like air plane crashes and recent built structures shouldn't be on it.

Also damn it took too long to find clay. Eventually I found it in a mine.

i found a small area with clay and a few other ores at B2, just under the 2 on the map

ore fields are quiet rar. Its a little bit annoying, cant build properly.

I agree. So clay now look like light brown boulders???
They were orange-ish before.
