How do i know where it drops the breaktrough materials?

it says outworld but not in witch dungeon it drops, does anyone know a way to see or know where it drops?

The breakthrough mats can be bought from the prestige shop.

Most of the Breaktrough items and some of its materials can be bought from the Faith/Prestige shops. Its much easier to buy from the Faith/Prestige shops so save up points and remember to upgrade the shops. Also you'd need to grow the herbs. Or you can buy it from the shops too and downgrade those herbs into lower rarity herbs. Honestly this is the most reliable way as you won't have to play the RNG game.

As for venturing to the outside world, i noticed most realms/dungeons mostly drop loot not related to breakthrough items. There are some that are breakthrough items like Nascent Elixir but the drop rate is abysmal. You can see the loot table if you click on the "Attack" button of the dungeon/realm.

The other way is to send your disciples on Adventuring tasks like raiding Illusory Realms, Cities etc. Once you research the tech, press "J" key(its the Apron building) and it'll open up a menu showing all possible raid locations. You have to explore them first. It also shows loot tables for each location. Remember to claim the loot your disciples acquire from adventuring or set it to auto-claim.
