when developers just put a year out.. you can guarantee its not going to release for few more years.. so they say.. 2025 im willing to be a few thousand of dollars this wont release till 2026 or 2027

If you mean the full content, maybe yeah, at least 2-3 years but if you want this era of BS called Early Access ("free" testing) i think will be available this year after overhyping this product by the "pro reviewers".

I think the "free" in this case was meant as in you don't pay extra for it since you are basicly prepurchasing the game.

Well it's an early access period that starts this year and will be in development for about a year or two. If I recall this game is more developed than the past two's early access programs, it's primarily ironing out the bugs, story content, switching story elements based on feedback, recreating the beginning a few times, pacing, etc.

then dont buy it if EA bothers you that much. UWE has had a great track record of finishing their products before releasing it out of EA and so far not a a single game turned into abandoneware.

With steams new dlc and Ea rules they cannot push back a title for years once its marked 2025 or can they delay any dlc's prob why you haven't seen a date yet as they cannot change that once posted..
