I don't know if Riley was the character we were playing as in the first one, but I thought after Riley went home I thought he grew old and died till the trailer of subnautica 2 picked up, he's not dead and few years older!

They have radically different head shapes though? Ryley is much more mog face looking with a squished head. The guy we see looks 10× more like a regular person. His body proportions appear to be more in line with a standard person than Ryley does with his elongated limbs. Ryley basically looks like what a belter is described to look in The Expanse
