There is regional pricing, but Steam/Valve was the one that changed the regional pricing for Argentina and Turkey. Sucks, I know, but that's what it is

Here in Mexico this game has pretty good regional pricing (24 usd)

the developer/publisher sets the regional pricing

I see you're interested in buying smegma... but not for $40.

You want to VPN and buy at dirt cheap prices go ahead, I hope everyone gets treated equally and all games become cheaper where we could buy them at your preferable smegma prices.

The prices of this company do not matter to me, like AQUAPLUS they never try to put at least the interface and the story in Spanish I see no reason to buy the games xDD in fact the language does not matter to me I prefer the original (Japanese)

Russian regional price is actually decent. Guess Argentina and Turkey are getting screwed over by new recommended prices from valve.

I don't think you have any idea what life is in one of the poorest country. If you can be bothered by a videogame not having regional pricing on internet your country is nowere close to the poorest... Since people in these country are actualy bothered by the fact that food is not readily aviable.

Looks like price is high in several countries!
I guess something is wrong here or they had mistaken that price politics.

Good luck!

Internet is not a luxury, it's a necessity. I live in South Africa, which is a very poor country... and internet has been declared a public utility... so internet is exactly the same as clean water, electricity or gas... so it's not even a consideration of 'if you have internet then you're not poor'... it has been declared this way in dozens of countries, so your argument is moot. Many countries have laws that put a ceiling on the price of internet (same as with electricity and water). Unfortunately, my government has no such law for software/games, and that allows unethical publishers like this one to make the prices of their games unattainably high.

Because there is a law in your country that say internet is of public utility dont mean it's vital... Something being of public utility is not of the same importance as food and water... Also even in poor country there are rich people. Many people in rich country barely even have enouth to eat, you living in a poor country mean nothing.

So no, you don't complain about living in "the poorest" country on the internet because a game's publisher don't care about regional pricing.
It's the minimal decency not to compare, you that think you can't live without internet, and country were internet isn't even a thing people think about because they are too occupied by trying to get to eat.

Most use steam's predetermined values. Most do not set the values themselves.

You also have the option of waiting for sales to grab the game cheaper. I rarely - if ever - pay full price for anything (games or otherwise).
At@At Nov 18, 2022 @ 11:49pm
Did something change in Argentina to up prices? I know Turkey is having currency issues. There are a lot more complaints from these regions now (and Russia for obvious reasons). At least more complaints than usual, pretty much every game that's not AAA quality gets these complaints now compared to around a half of the games a few years ago.

Is it just that game prices are going up in general and wealthier countries are heading towards a downturn so other countries prices aren't being subsidised as much now?
Meredius Nov 19, 2022 @ 5:50pm
The world economic conditions and currency exchange rates will and do play a factor in pricing. As the US raises rates to counter inflation and strengthen its dollar positions, it devalue other currencies... in turn other central banks are raising rates to also temper inflation pressures... it's a complex balancing act.

u can wait for discount after 10 years like the utawarerumono series old games. it is dirt cheap.
