Theory: the monster we saw at the end led the children away from playcare into a room of that gas which will put them asleep then when they wake up they will be ready for testing but i think the monster also went rouge and started killing everyone. Mini theory: when we defeat the monster of this chapter we will lead them into the room with gas and kill them somehow
