It's a skill issue. I once team up with pretty skillful players against MLL and none of them ever dies to MLL.
Before we call for any buffs or nerfs we should wait for the meta to settle, see how things are once everyone has upgraded perks and sabos and more play time. (No pun intended)
From all monsters as much as i´m aware Boxy should be currently the weakest one due he needs more hits to down a player due of his attack speed and also not really has any advantage aside from maybe his jump.
A player who is skilled enough to play with a monster can overcome the team in no time. I just had a round with a very skilled MLL player who used the breaker Sabotage and was waiting at one breaker to catch a player who tried to repair it and was also very good with using her grab to be on positions where he was hard to see and so really had the part of surprise on his side all the time.
In the end the round ended in a timeout as the last 2 players decided to more run and hide in lockers so that the train did not open the doors due neither of them was downed or killed so that the "last survivor can try to escape" triggered what could have ended the round earlier. Also the last puzzle pillars had 2/3 completion. In total (and based to the result screen) the time of 20 mins passed before the round ended.
All monsters have unique abilities and its impact on the game hence why Survivors must know how to adapt and overcome these things.
I can only repeat myself here and say "It always depends on the player who is actually playing the monster how well it will perform during the game so that it can even outwit a good group of survivors if the skills and abilities are used to the fullest".
So imo players who think that monster x needs a nerf maybe not have addapted fully to the style of play of that monster and shows me only that the devs did a good job with them.
The game truly is about skill if nothing else. I feel like the game is absolutely balanced as is, and if anything is really a "threat", it would be Huggy Wuggy, as Mommy Long Legs and Boxy Boo are far too easily trolled, especially on the current maps.
Regardless thereof, none of the characters, be it survivors or killers need a buff OR a nerf, they're quite well balanced, which is something I rarely can admit in any game. It SOLELY depends on the skills of the survivor & killer to make something of their role. All killers are properly equipped with the necessary tools to take down players, and with the sabotage abilities they all share, choosing the right one for your killer/survivor is a must.
I've rarely seen a game as well balanced as this one. Are there times I get caught where I get mad, thus blaming "balance" for it? Yes. But that is in the heat of the moment, and having played many hours of the game at this point, having won the majority of the games due to good solo play, team play or killer play (all killer matches won as Huggy Wuggy btw, just saying...), I can absolutely say that the game is truly quite well balanced.
In other words, if you think the game is unbalanced, I've got two words of advice: Git gud.
Peace.
Boxy has his grab power (kinda inconsistent but still strong) in chase which prevents looping or using most areas on the map as survivor, has 2 passive abilities (longer jumps and a music box which tells them where the nearest survivors are), and has the best mobility in the game by far. IMO he's definitely far from the weakest killer.
