Steam deck support?

I tried it on steam deck. The controller doesn't work. Remapping controller to keyboard keys doesn't work either. Get stuck on title screen.

That's odd. I have no idea why it'd work for some and not all. I was able to play it today by connecting an external keyboard. When I have proper time to troubleshoot I'll try to see if I can get it to work with the default configuration.

I don't get my progress made on PC on the Deck.

Steam deck controls stopped working when proton 9 downloaded along with a game update (and it reset my progress), but I have a controller workaround!

Switch to a mouse type (i.e. WASD mouse) WHILE IN GAME (use the steam button), then return to the game (go look at the title menu again, exit out of the controller menu). After that, switch back to recommended gamepad the same way using the steam button, while in game. The controls should now work. You need to do this every time you start up the game

I also have the issue but that worked for me

This doesn't seem like it's related (and is probably just the game operating as designed), but just FYI I'm playing on a desktop PC and I have no mouse at all (the game appears to be designed to work with only a keyboard).

Anyway, point being that perhaps the fact that the game isn't expecting a mouse at all (or any kind of pointer, for that matter) might explain some of the symptoms?
