UI difficulty

I am trying to do the transport tube tutorial and I placed a chest with wood assuming this would dispense to the forge but the chest shows arrows but no way to interact/rotate. What am I missing?

I did it without chests and think they dont work with chests? So i placed the tubes next to a drill.

I know the tubes do put things *in* chests as I made a gem crank and put a tube to a chest from it and that worked. But didn't trigger the quest completion.

I got it working but now having trouble with hooking up the power relay to the assembler.

the power relay needs to be connected to the crank generator and the assembler needs to be in the box of the power relay
