Assembler not taking items from tube

Has anyone else had a similar problem ?
If I put in the items manually it does craft, but does not take items from tubes.
Does the assembler has some kind of depth limit where I can place it in the world?

What is your collection range set to? It sounds like you either have it at the smallest setting, or you are outside of it.

The other thing might be that machines only take a small amount of resources, instead of a full stack from tubes.

1st assembler successfully takes wood to proceed planks.
2nd assembler however does not take planks :/

It does not matter if I modify the collection range or place the tubes directly next/beneath/above/anywhere of the 2nd assembler.

It only works, partially, and somehow random, when I move the 2nd assembler somewhere else, higher up. This however messes up my whole base plan ^^

You're feeding boards into an assembler that is set to make boards. I'm not sure what the intent here is but you've either got the wrong recipe selected or are feeding in the wrong material

Heh. No worries! It happens with games like this. I can't count the number of times i've put pipes in the wrong direction or misaligned outputs of assemblers and didn't notice for hours-

I'm not that far yet, i hope there is a way to clean the pipes without destroying them?
