Really looking forward to this, I have Eisenbach Deluxe (older version of this) and it's a great system. I'm a little worried that Nations at War seems to have stalled out, but happy to see all the improvements in the LnL Tactical Digital game. Really hope that once you get LnLTac finished, this excellent game system will be next! I will buy it day 1.

The bit this computer game is based on now is the board game WaW 85 "Storming the Gap" which has been released for a couple of years actually...I know cause I have it set up on my table as we speak and I play it quite a bit. The new expansion for WaW 85 is called "Blood and Fury" and is not out yet, but after a youtube update its looking like well get our stuff in the next few months. Lots of misinformation on here and people that don't know wtf they are talking about.

I also have Storming the Gap and its expansion (which contains an operational-level game within a game). It's an awesome system that's fast, fluid, simple and deadly. It would make a great computer wargame.

I agree! I have the campaign expansion as well, but haven't done anything with it either. I know it's probably years away, but I am hoping they bring the campaign system to the PC game as well....But for now, I will be happy just to get the base engine on a computer.

Sorry, just saw your comment....It would be awesome to have a digital version of Firefight or Mechwar, though other than us old farts, no one would probably be familiar with it anymore. Firefight would be awesome as the computer could take care of a lot of the mechanics of the game that while playing the board game version tended to make it something of a chore to play. Obviously as they were designed before computers were common, they tried to make them as accurate as possible and that drove play-ability now...same can be said for SPI's Airwar, which I spent a long time learning, only to really play half a dogfight which I remember took hours....now a computer could take care of all the book keeping and math and actually make the games playable.

Its delivered, and even available in retail, your mistaken it for something else.
