About MikeZ - the flipside of the accusations

I really detest prolonging the "discourse" about something that has nothing to do with the game itself - but I despise even more that the "discourse" is the top thread in this forum. So, in the interest of hearing both sides of the argument (because the linked article in the other post has a definite bias), I'll leave a link to an interesting video about the MikeZ lawsuit.

Just looking at the attitude the people that ran him off is enough to see they are ♥♥♥♥ people.

Now them taking victory laps about "their" game that they poached from it's original creators is just adding insult to injury.

Best thing to do at that point is just to ignore Skullgirls. I removed it from my library at least. Although I did that sometime before this video happened, since I always felt off about the whole ordeal. Especially on BunnyAyu, my GOD especially her, I forgot how bad that was.

Either way, Diesel Legacy is looking pretty good so far. Always good to have talented people on board. Mike Z was always talented. I just don't think he's good in a leadership position.

After watching SFO's and Technicals' video on MikeZ, I feel inclined to support this game.

He made some mistakes, but, from what I've seen, he did not deserve the horrible things that happened to him.

but turns out he may not be guilty after all. he's not innocent, but not a sex pest.

at least i hope not. i only hope justice is done. this video has a lot of the evidence and how people who accused him dont' have their stories consistent... or evidence.

i'm glad people care and don't want to support awful sexist behavior. that's grand. but this doesn't seem to be that. Otherwise, he would not be hired.

yeah. and censoring skull girls and avoiding "the male gaze" is not stopping sexism. censoring of an UPSIDE DOWN UMBRELLA and Big band's story mode is NOT helping fight racism.

censorship, even self censorship, is the tool of the fascist and internalizing that fascist oppression.
