Do it respawn? I accidentally killed it and it doesn't show a respawn

Exit the room and reenter. It will spawn again.

All mobs respawn unless captured (of those that can be captured).

Note that the capturable mobs won't always drop their stuff again if killed repeatedly (like Lucca which drops a unique item for some craftable boots), so not worth to farm.

One small tip is if you build for spell damage (which often make you struggle to hold back on weakening step), you can straight up kill the pet with the control spell, doesn't matter if it's at 100% health, if you kill the enemy with the spell you will get the pet. You can put the spell on major slot and enhance with circles for extra damage as well.
