DEV switch physical preorder issue

I preordered the switch physical standard which has the black pearl set dlc outfit. When I download the dlc it doesn’t register my physical so I can’t use it. The dlc is acting like it’s only for the digital only edition. Please fix this. I’m sure all the dlc will do this to the physical version

That's on the manufacturer PM Studios, but both they and KIWIWALKS are aware of it.

This apparently isn't the first time, as PM Studios also made DEEMO's physical copy incompatible with its DLC.
It's not a regional issue either since the English digital and Japanese digital are considered the same game (you can pull up the eShop information for either region with the DLC), but the English physical copy is a separate thing entirely that pulls up an error on the eShop.
