frozen alter

for 7th ice spell i need ice core. so i where do i get into frozen alter

North of the snow fields is Lunars house.
From there you go to the right the ramp down and north into the ice cave.
There is a yellow cristall in the middle, run past it on its right side (down the ramp) to get to the frozen Altar.
