items disappearing in bunker

so, found a t5 armor on my first raid and a few other good guns, put the armor on a shelf and a little while later it vanished while I was doing other stuff, is this a bug or an I supposed to put stuff in designated spots ?

if not stored properly on shelves and mannequins items will be sent to your kiosk in the trade room, you can go into the trade room and straight ahead is a kiosk go to the computer and the retrieve items tab and itll be there. This is also where items go after you purchase them from the tabor market, guns, meds, armors etc.
Also on the kiosk there is a tab at the top for rations 6hr,24h,and weekly were you can claim free stuff to use.
Just FYI because sounds as tho you are new , dont sweat gear to much at all at the moment just play and use everything and have fun because they are wiping in 2 days, use this time to just learn the game. Have Fun

They don't sit well on shelves, you can test if something is not going to save there by prodding it with a gun after you've placed it; if it's rock steady, it will save, if it can be pushed around it will not save there.

Try putting armor on mannequins like the first comment suggested or in the lockers with the coat hangers. Helmets can sit right above those too if you find any.

not too worried about gear tbh, I am new, and I know any gear I find is probably short lived lol I think the only thing I have going for me starting off is that I've sunk alot of time into gun club vr so I'm a pretty good shot, thanks for the heads up, glad to hear that armor is still available to me
