What ages are appropriate for this game?

My friend who is 12 who plays Fortnite and apex wants to play this game. Is this game like apex with a 12+ rating, or like cod with a 17+ age rating?

The store page lists it as PEGI-16, which is roughly equivalent to the ESRB's M for Mature (aka 17+) rating.

The game definitely looks more like an IRL military-style shooter than a stylized, cartoony shooter like Apex or Fortnite.

age ratings dont mean much.. but i would say make sure if ur kids are playing keep em aware its all a game. and if they feel dizzy or sick get them away from it. im an uncle of 2. and i let my sis's kids play VR but responsibly.
