I can't enter the apartment??

On the first day when you're moving in and get the key I can't open the apartment or do anything with the door, is anyone else having the same problem?? I hope I can figure out what the problem is because I really wanna play this :(( Plus another thing to add, for me the cut scene at the start is always in Japanese, after the scene says day one it goes to English, but I'm confused on why it's stuck on Japanese

Same case here. Not even 30 seconds in.
Tried verifying file integrity, uninstall, and reinstalling. No go.

The cutscene at the beginning for me, was in initially in English.
Every time since, has been in Japanese.
Innkeeper guy is still in English at least.

Having the same exact issues, key wont work, game was in English on first launch and now its in Japanese no matter what, uninstall and reinstalling doesn't even bring it back to English or lets me in the apartment

***SOLUTION*** press WIN+R, write in the textbox "AppData" then click on LocalLow, now you have to go to the "Chilla's Art, LLC" folder and delete "TheBathhouse" folder, and finally the game will work fine. No need to thanks me😊
