In loving memory: Ed Kertz (1944-2023)
Who was he?
Was he Alan's father?

EDIT TO AVOID FURTHER CONFUSION:

The title of this post is literaly the first line we see in the credits of the game, just below the game logo.

Then my question is actually about this person mentioned in the very first line of the credits.

We understand that he died last year, and that he might have been very important to the Kingdom team. That's clear.

But then I thought about the Kingdom developer Alan Kertz (known online as Demize99), because he has the same family name of the credited person. And I thought Alan could be his son because that's prety much the gap generation I imagine Alan and his father could have (Alan, just like Gordon, being born around the 70s or 80s).

Sorry for the vagueness of my first input.

Possibly, I seen that too. I was thinking that maybe Alan got possessed by greed or something on the end. The purple greed slime came out Alans mouth. They should have let his dad Ed make it in to the second one.

Oh, OK! Now I see that there's A LOT of confusion in this thread. First because SonicBoomin (the 1st user to comment) thought "Alan" is The Leader (the protagonist in Eighties); but no! As far as I know The Leader's name hasn't been revealed.

I've edited my original post on the top to explain what I was actually talking about.

In Ed Kertz's obituary, it lists Alan Kertz as one of his children
