Where do you turn off crossplay?

I kill a bot and then when my shield is down and I have to reload a player comes. This is trash.

like I told the devs. this game is too rng based. unless you find a good gun, it's not fun to play

The definition of a skill issue...

1. If you're playing on steam getting rid of crossplay won't rid you of 'aimbots' as most cheaters are on PC versions of games. Unless you're referring to Aim assist which doesn't realy provide much.

2. I've never had a puzzle bug out, though it wouldn't surprise me if it happened. While you are annoyingly whiney your stance here if you did encounter a bug is fair.

3. Then... how bout you don't stand out in the open? This is literally a skill issue and you can't blame the game cause you played a situation poorly.

4. Again skill issue, I regularly beat Purple and higher guns with greens and blues... because the gun rank only adds minor degrees of damage... if you're dying to anyone it's because you played the fight wrong.

Please allow us to turn off cross-play!

First off, I'd like to say that I love this game. I play it on both Xbox and PC! However, one thing that gets me is, when playing Xbox, I'll get PC players that can turn around 180 degrees when you hit them in the back. On the PC, I'll get console players that have really heavy aim assist.

Is there any way I can just restrict the game to playing on my preferred platform? I'd love to compete on an even playing field. I personally don't mind bots either.

Hello smokratez, there is no such option on PC right now. This was forwarded to the development team already and will be fixed with our next regular maintenance.

I feel like the same people that argue against turning off cross-play are usually the console players. Why do you think that is? If aim assists doesn't help much, then let's get rid of it. What aim assist does do, is allow you to aim high and get more headshots. In a game like this, headshots is a quick kill. Don't even need to aim down scope. Just hip fire over the person's head. Replies like yours remind me of soy boys playing these extraction shooters in groups and fighting against solo only mode.

Aim assist is dumb to have in crossplay. There are advantages to using a controller over keyboard and mouse and aiming is the only disadvantage. Trying to "help" with the only disadvantage just gives console players a full advantage across the board.

Again, anyone arguing against PC only modes, are no different than those arguing against solo only modes in other extraction shooters. It's all about keeping the advantage.
