that could be agood thing if its a anti cheat not many people used so its flaws may not be so well known like easy anti but what is the name?

Yeah I like the game so far but that anti cheat is a little weird for my liking. I was literally just scrolling through task manager after closing the game to see if theres anything weird going on.

at least you get to play i load the game enter a cutscene go back to the main menu and it just loads not letting me in plus i keep getting other people in a VC for some unknown reason

It doesn't appear in my recenly installed programs and there is also no 'included XXX' on the Steam homepage while it clearly installed something upon launch

Uninstalled for now because I don't want to risk a ban in my other online MP games

Now time to check my files and processes for suspicious leftovers

You can simply turn it off in tasks manager- it worked on other my.gems games like WW3.
Theres no anticheat. I have never seen anyuone banned in ww3 etc.

Just turn it off, you really don't know what this crap is doing to your PC

My question may be really dumb, but... If the anti-cheat is located at the same folder as windows, does it mean it has kernel level access?

I be more concern with fact they trying hide it location since I did uninstall game but it was still on my computer and no tech nerd I literally had open my files (which I never done before) and find it exact location to remove it at least instruction to remove it was easy follow.
Edit forgot mention I only learn that anti cheat may be still on my computer is after reading this thread.
