So depending on the type of person you are, I can see a lot of mileage here if you want to get everything, otherwise just a normal platformer game length.
thanks that's what I was looking to hear
I think it'd be better to stop comparing the price over the time of a game because either way RPGs win over platformers and puzzle games have a virtually infinite replay value.
That's why AAA devs basically made their game's pace longer to satisfy the lentght at the cost of flow and fun.
Fair points. Personally, I wasn't comparing this game to any other genre, and I'm not expecting it to be a 50+ hour game. But for a indie 3D platformer priced at $30, I would hope it would at least be 20-25 hours long at that price. Feels a bit steep, otherwise.
Nowadays games are barely Die & Retry like Megaman and Ninja Gaiden to make them seem longer but I can see that Penny got plenty of side missions and several bonus levels to offer people a way to have a longer experience.
And there's even the time attack for the speedrunners.
I'd rather have a short main game for those who want to have fun but not spend too much time while offering an extended time for those who want to reach the 100%
I understand you feel that way, and I respect that, but I don't want to pay $30 for a game that is potentially really short
So does anyone actually know how long this game is?
