We have alot of major plans for this game. Where currently focus on "Bug Fixing" and "Tweeks" and "Improvements" such as these mini games. We also have alot of plans for major content. Expect rest of this year; and even going into next year; worth of heavy development of things to look forward too. <3
We have major plans for game and very excited to start working on these once we can address the bugs and address gameplay improvements to move forward.
A Great foundation, is key, to building a City of Dreams. <3
That's great to hear, but for me they would already be pretty good with a few small tweaks, right now it feels like at least for the modeling minigame (haven't tried playing guitar yet) you need to react faster than the UI indicates. The notes seem to count as failed as soon as they hit the middle of the camera button, but that's when you need to actually press the key to get it perfect in pretty much every rhythm game, so I have to consciously press the keys early. They also seem to very closely _not_ match up with the music, which might also be because of the reverse delay. So I personally think before working on a bug overhaul, the game would be improved a lot by just improving the existing system a little bit.
I have also noticed that the minigames when talking to people do not show the timing very accurately, by the way. They succeed when the indicator has already passed the area, and don't succeed when the indicator is just starting to touch it. These are very small issues, but they end up making the game feel unresponsive, and that's very frustrating as a player. It's a shame because I love what you've built, but these little things really need to be fixed for the game to feel great to play overall.
THANK YOU for expressing almost perfectly what happens with the modeling minigame, (with the guitar playing minigames) and how with the dance minigames, the butcher shop, etc. :')
Personally, if you fix the minigame bugs now, it would already be an enjoyable game. I'd appreciate it if you also fix other bugs, update the game, and continue to improve it over time.
This game has the potential to be a good game, and I'm hopeful. I'll wait for the bugs to be fixed and for future updates with new features. I'm really looking forward to it. <3
