I’m asking carefully: When can we expect updates?

I’m really enjoying the game! On some evenings, I just put up with the crashes and save really, really frequently. It’s a bit annoying, but I’m just super excited to play this game. That’s why I’m also incredibly impatient.
Is there any timeframe I could go by? “In a few weeks” is unfortunately a bit too vague for me.

I'm not really sure where you read "In a few weeks" but I didn't see any set time frame for next updates. The fixes have been coming, but it seems to be whenever something is ready they are releasing it.

For the crashes I think the developer mentioned working on it in the Known Issues threads in bugs section. If you want to check it out:

Just keep checking the game daily for updates, as they said in their bug reports post, they work on fixes but they don't usually make a whole announcement for one single fix. So expect an announcement once they tackle a couple of more big bug fixes.

It will help if you compare notes with existing crash reports. If the crash happens, for you, when you do Y, but no one else mentions it happening for their crash, then add that detail.

Finding the source of a bug or crash can be like trying to untangle a box of random wires that has accumulated over years. If everyone just says, "It's crashing" then all of those wires are black. But with each detail about said crash, you change a color of one of those wires. Making it much, much, easier to untangle.

If your refering to more content being added? Then currently the main focus right now is bug fixing and quality of life improvements from player feedback. This process takes time but its the major priority from the Development Team. Content you can definitely expect some major things this year and hopefully with in the next 30 day time period, but I can't make any full promises but still some thing to watch out for. <3

It's more related to people with systems with 4 gigs of ram and some cases 8 gigs of ram so its more related to Laptop's. So this mite give u a idea. A patch will be added some time this month it will optimize the game for these systems, to fix this crash and related crashes hopefully.
The Development Team is working hard on this and all remaining bugs. <3
