Books do not generate royalties

I have now published 5 books and have waited at least 2 weeks since publishing my first book, yet no royalties are generated. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Same as well - published 5 books that were all grade A, two weeks no royalties.

Same here, was a bit sad as I often do the writer career in Sims 3 and have always enjoyed the freedom that comes with it.

Yea, it's like all the life stuff is there but not completed... Every quest or option at some point down a path is buged or messed up.. Tis a shame, this is a great game in concept and should be kept alive and worked on. Hopefully the dev or devs fix this stuff and keep it going.

This is why I am waiting to buy.
If it was just like "Avoid X profession and you'll be good" then no worries. But it's EVERY direction that is broken at some point or in some way.

Wanna move? No storage.
Write books? No royalties.
Play guitar? Minigame impossible.
Get diploma and advanced careers? Nope! (might have been fixed?)
Just do X job? It stops improving.
Crash, crash, crash, crash.
