I Want To Buy a WRC Game, But...
I'm watching Wrc Gen videos, 2 issues hit my eyes both enough to say no to this game seperately:

1. The car is like floating... Suspensions make car look so weird like wobble all time
2. So slow. Even gravel is more slippery than snow. Made me sleepy. Also I haven't seen aesthetic power slides.

So, the question is, that physics mod will help about these? If not, Wrc 10 looks much better to me

I own wrc10/Gen and the ea wrc and Generations is the best imo. The graphics/ stages and once you apply the physics mod the handling is soooo good, and the mod is still being updated. It's up to version 7 right now, I'm still on ver6 because 7 is patreon locked. Wrc10 is good too but the difference to Generations with the mod is too great to ignore. The ea wrc was/is a failure and I'm done with it.

Where do you get the physics mod from? I haven’t heard of it before.

You don't even need the mod because everything it does can be tweaked with the ini files.

The guy has done all the work and has testers, why try to crap on everything dude? Do you want to go and edit hundreds of files by trial and error? The guy is adding new cars and tweaks every update and the latest v.07 is fantastic!

Before to decide to install the physics mod u need to be aware about these 2 things:

1- it will double the size of your game folder. WRCGen takes ~50Gb without, and over 90Gb with the mod. Installation will fail if u don't have plenty of free space.

2- Playing with the mod totally ruined my performance in Leagues where u don't decide which car u are racing in. This is because although some cars physics are really improved with this mod, other cars are way worse than without it due to some highly inappropriate preset tuning which have been applied. So as much as the mod is making the game better on some cars and is suitable for offline racing where u can choose your vehicle, it is unusable when playing in leagues where u have to race various cars assigned by the game daily. I had to uninstall the mod to get things back to normal and be competitive again in Leagues races.

Hmmmm I literally just did a league rally and didnt notice any odd behaviour. If you have fast internet you could always reinstall the game if it does not suit your taste right? But for singleplayer it's a must have game changer. I just did the monaco rally and they way the traction cuts out on snow and as soon as you hit pavement again your feel grip again is awesome! It really feels good.
