Optimization, what settings does anyone have?
I'm really tired, I don't understand what to unscrew in the settings to make the game smooth, is it possible?
My configuration is R7 5700X, RX6700XT, 32Gb, 2k monitor 75Hz.
Maximum quality in 2k is unplayable.
High in FullHD is variable, sometimes everything is perfect, but usually below the monitor frequency and frequent stutters.
I tried the FSR mod, a little smoother, but still unpleasant.
For example, Forza Horizon 4 in 2k on ultra works perfectly.
Perhaps you have achieved the optimal value of the settings?

You can play the game fine at other refresh rates (and use VRR), but only 60hz & 120hz with vsync will give you that arcade machine super smooth game play.

WRC Generations on maximum settings is very GPU demanding (much more than WRC 9 & 10), you will have to selectively turn down some of the settings to get better performance. Some of those settings you wont notice any graphic fidelity change - especially at high speed!

Should also mention that Replay mode will constantly drop out of sync and become a microstutter fest - no setting changes will fix this (only a bug fix, which seems very unlikely at this point unfortunately - guess we will have to wait for V-Rally 5...).

Have you tried this guide:
User Config Guide (Optimization, FFB, Additional Settings):

Any guides optimising KT Racing graphics and physics engine should work (its used in multiple games).

You will typically get stuttering after a driver update as the shader cache usually has to be recreated.

I have 5700XT, Ryzen 5 3600 and 16GB of RAM and I play this in 1080p on a 4K television. It never stutters or anything. Framerate is rather irrelevant as it's a normal Samsung 4K television, meaning it doesn't even support high framerates (60 is max I believe, but there's a motion smoothing gimmick that actually works). Still, the framerate is around 100 on high settings (but not very high), but again, the television does not actually display that many frames.

Edit: Stupid question but I'll ask anyway; you do have a good SSD (like NVME), right?

Fix for 60 improved smoothness. Smoother than 75. And I really remembered that I did something like that in previous episodes. But 60 is very little :). But now I raised the graphics settings a lot. Thanks for reminding me.

The same issues are now for TDU Solar... but they blocked me in the Forum cause they don t accept critics.
