How do you expect people to understand and get things setup properly if they do not match.
For example
Saturation is not mentioned in the document but is in game.
Invert, combine axis in document. I see no combine in game.
Sensitivity is in the game and document but is not really useful as it seems to work as either on or off when in the game regardless of how you set it.
Very, very poor control setup implementation to say the least. Someone needs to go back to school or take a new job. The UI design is awful, what is the point of have sliders if the sliders do not actually do anything, oh I see you need to click the arrows to move the slider. Have both options, please do just pander to people who have controllers because that seems like what you are doing on the controls section.
The use of the "Enter" (Confirm) is pointless if using a mouse and just confuses things. The mouse "Select" (Confirms). You have to actually "Esc" (Go Back) to actually confirm to then be able to "Select" another item to change.
It all seems to be that it cannot make up its mind if you are using a mouse, keyboard or a controller to actually do something.
How did you get it working with Simucube 2 Pro?
before it crashed during the initial loading but plugging the wheel at the main menu worked now that crashes too
EDIT: alright so I went into a stage with the wheel unplugged, plugged the wheel and it didn't crash but didn't set steering range so it was unplayable, then restarted the game with the wheel plugged it and it worked
this game's busted in new ways I have never seen before and I routinely play busted games
That’s a hell of a simulator for WRC Generations. How is it possible that in 2022, with the number of flyers on the market you have to go crazy to set it up?
Is it as difficult to do it as the others, in which they are already integrated and is only configuring the FFB and the answers according to the personal taste of each one?
In fact, my VRS base has not been able to function decently. It’s a shame.
The downside is that it is an endemic problem in their products, because in WRC 10, WRC 9, WRC 8, etc... the same thing happened. It seems untrue.
See if they learn how to make decent simulators that run any steering wheel without going crazy.
Greetings from a user very angry with you.
I was having the same issue with my SG Racing sequential shifter/handbrake combo but I was able to get it working. It appears to be an issue with Windows recognizing anything with an Arduino as an xbox controller. Try the following:
Download vJoy, UCR, and HidHide.
In vJoy create 1 new device. 3 Buttons, I used X axis for my shifter and Z for the handbrake. Unchecked Force Feedback, under POV Hat Switch select continuous and 0. Enable vJoy.
In UCR create a new profile. Use Button to Button mapping for the shifter, and Axes to Axes for the handbrake. Make the profile active.
Open HidHide. Select your shifter/handbrake and select Enable device hiding. Launch WRC Generations.
You should now be able to configure the shifter and handbrake in game, as well as not run into the issue of "button always being pressed".
You may need to create 2 devices in vJoy, I was able to get it working with 1.
