WRC Generations | Steering Wheel Configurations

Hello Drivers,

Everyone has personal expectations when it comes to playing with a racing wheel. Some prefer strong feedback; others prefer more emphasis on tyre slip feedback while driving on gravel for example. While developing WRC Generations we wanted to make sure you can configure axes and wheel feedback so you can have your racing wheel behave as you want it to. We have working on a documentation which explains how to optimize racing wheel settings in WRC Generations.

Whether you want to configurate them through in-game settings, files modification (which we can only recommend to advanced users) or finally telemetric settings!

I believe they mean "why the documentation is not in the game". Our answer to that is we couldn't integrate this for a few reasons, including the fact this document was finalized after the development of the game for its launch and that some parts of the document are meant for PC & Consoles players, while other parts are for a single platform.

We will see with our development team if it's possible to integrate the document post-launch but no promises. :)

Nice move with the telemetry addition !
I'm implementing it in SimHub right now, at first sight it is pretty complete.

That said one data is clearly marked as not supported, but it would really be useful : m_track_size which in the original telemetry format was the total stage/track length in meter, it allows to build a proper progress bar for instance.

Multiple users reporting issues with the fanatec CSW v2.5 wheelbase

Greetings. My logitech G29 was detected with the wrong pedal layout and does not have Force Feedback. Everything in the force feedback section is greyed out. It's the primary controller. Is there a way to get force feedback on this wheel?

Nacon, I can't use my Fanatec pedals. I tried everything but the game won't let me use them , neither tried to check the force feedback and didn't work. Only the Fanatec buttons of the steering wheel.
Please I just want to play. Thanks

My thrustmaster T248 isn't recognized at all. Tried everything. It worked in WRC 9 & 10 without issues.

G29 no ffb . All options greyed out all drivers and firmware upto date . Can't access some menu items with wheel or controller

Update .... Now I have no steering either ... My expectations were higher than this . I am not patient so please don't thank me for it. I am in fact rather impatient.

Pls. Add Motion Blur inside the Cars. We just got Motion Blur outside views. We also needs inside Motion Blur for those that like Motion Blurs in games (Like me). Thx

Anyone with a VRS Direct Force Pro wheel, when binding left and right to your wheel, make sure that you set the left input to ‘invert’ as WRCg sees the wheels axis either turning left or right as the same.

So inverting the left input binding then makes it the input that is the opposite of right, that being left!

Worked for me :)
