Word of caution; do not worry about WRC+ DLC

Obtaining WRC+ membership through DLC is borderline impossible. They require a perfect screenshot which captures your email address, Steam account, Steam receipt (proof of purchase) in a single, unedited picture. The Steam email you get emailed to you as your proof of purchase is so big with lots of filler/empty space that you have to scroll down, past where your email address shows up (depending on your email service, i.e. Google, Yahoo etc) and your first and last name needs to be in there in too along with your purchase/invoice number. You cannot send multiple screenshots, and "United States" is also written in French through their code redemption website. I once tried redeeming, and a French guy on Steam was like "oh, you have to select this one for your country!" They also take forever to get back to you, and there's a two-week time limit, so by the time I had everything sorted, I was out of time and they permanently removed my privilege to receive a WRC+ code. Pretty much all the other countries are in English except USA, so it's very misleading. I thought that "États Unis" was a foreign country in itself, not "United States" in French.

For me it was easy. I printed the steam email with Microsoft print to PDF (printer available since Win 10). So I got this proof of purchase as PDF which they accepted. Okay, their website is a bit confusing, some countries in english, some in french, but there are enough translators available.

For some email clients, it's not possible to get your name and email address with invoice number all in one shot due to spacing issues. I had to use Super Virtual Resolution and by then it was too late.

This is a technical problem as well as a moral one. Even though not all may have my experience, do you really want to do business with people that act this bad?

I'm letting people know of an ongoing issue with WRC+ codes and to keep in mind which edition they purchase upon release. Not trolling, a message of courtesy, and this is what I get trying to help.. Thanks.

Cant you fix that by just forwarding the email then to another thats presentable then?

Most emails also give you pop3 so you download them in a proper client. Obviously you need to be carefull setting it up as some clients them will delete emails off the server once they've been downloaded.

i didnt bother with claiming the wrc access code and bought the game through epic and Nintendo switch. Both sent receipts to my gmail which were within descripted requirements.

I shouldn't have to migrate to POP3/IMAP just to get a code. It's ridiculous. I hope you can see my point. I get what you're saying, but there's a point where it's too far. I very rarely use email to begin with.
