Here's a few pieces of feedback.
Resources get to be too much until other systems are in place to use them.
I... HAD.. thousands of wood and some 1100 stone.. but I guess I now understand what the 25%/50% stuff is, because dying too much to Dracula and trying different specs means I'm at 380 wood, 180 stone, and the ~100 killy peppers I had are down to 11. That's brutal.

Dracula was... too painful and costly to figure out, but if it's a true end-game it doesn't matter I guess. However, I would've converted all of that wood/stone to hundreds of soulstone if I knew it was going to vanish.

Somewhere in the last update it seems like I have a new veggie entry that looks exactly like the skullion, but unless this was added after the fact to an early map I haven't revisited, I have no idea what that is. Or the new monster that seems to go with it, another grey spot in my veggiepedia.

Before my dracula death inventory purge, I had about 1500 blue food and 150 purple food. Now I have very little. Either way, that was far too much food, and you could sit there and fish for hours and hours to use it up.. there should be far less.

Ran out of reliquarium upgrades very quickly, so that could use some balance or additional uses for the stones. Converting to plants is ok in a pinch, but other than a rare vinecrow, I never used it.. I was more likely to have too many plants and be selling them.

The rebalance of levels made it such that getting from 18-19 took a week or so, and 19-20 might've taken close to 2 weeks. Also, there was no longer a point in crunching seeds for xp, because you'd have to do so on an insane scale for it to be worth anything.

The heartstone seemed mostly useless. One time I noticed I took a tiny bit of damage and was able to fix the house. Usually you either beat the map and leave the zone, or you don't really take any house damage.

The final fight - you really need to focus on and kill the boss as quickly as you can or you'll lose the house too fast. Afterwards there were so many enemies spawning slowly, I just ran around for a few minutes trying to find and kill them, until I finally noticed a counter, and they ramped up a bit at the end.

All in all a very enjoyable game that was worth the money. Looking forward to running through it again another time when there have been some content and balance patches. Thanks!

Hello!
Really lovely feedback, thank you so much for your insights into your experience!

I also wanted to give you confirmation that the mysterious veggie you found on your Veggiepedia is a placeholder for something that is going to be revealed later this week - we did let it show in the Veggiepedia too early by mistake, and for that we apologise :)

Regarding your experience with balance - we also agree that the current iteration does need adjustments and will be doing our best to touch up on these amounts!

However, we would first like to release a couple of upcoming features that will actually make a lot better use of all of these resources - including extra materials, C'thul food and Soulstones - before we make any drastic adjustments, since these will also affect the overall balance of the game and we want to make sure we get enough player feedback so that we don't hurt the enjoyment of current playthroughs by overdoing balance changes before then.

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to report your feedback, we really appreciate it! Cheers!
