But yeah, I still don't get how to make other characters and weapons useful. Most of them looks totally useless.
Not enough good combinations, lots of trash.
I was thinking the same thing. I don't like Lee. Too much Glass not enough cannon.
I am working on a new strat now with Thunderio. I am running on Alert 8 now. Will upload results when I get home.
What you can suggest as most "lazy" builds for high level alert (4+)?
I'm struggling to get what I want. Mostly disappointed by weapon choices.
Vik with either Warhammer or Ascendance. Preferably Ascendance. It has the best hammer DMG and is skills are really good as well.
For abilities Get armor, Duel, Crit, advanced tech. Make sure to get your ultimate as quickly as possible and also the skill that triggers the spirit slash a lot . The more spirit slahes you get the quicker the ultimate. You are mainly going for sustainability. Vik hit hard like a truck. And his ultimate makes him invulnerable for a set time while doing big DMG. And that is it.
I still like (visually) the first mecha more, but I LOVE spirits strike
Wait which is the skill that triggers the spirit slash a lot?
I love vik but I can't seem to be able to make any use of his axe. Very situational, I charge it only when enemies have long downtimes. At alert 3 the bosses move enough to be really dangerous
Also crit + spirit + ologram means an auto attack is like 1200+700+1200+I don't know but puts me around 4k, while the axe is like 1500 after charging (unless I go for the infinite charge)
After defeating the thunder boss, hit switches on each side of the arena.
Advanced bosses are the hard part for me and usually there is enough downtime in between the hits for the hammer to reload (not the spirit though)
If you use it another way then it is weak
