Fast PC, Slower then FM24

I play a lot FM, from the CM days early 1998. We are foorball is something i realy like with the editor options its amazing but i notice that is to slow. Even with 1 league selected its to slow on my Intel i9 32GB DDR5 SSD

days are gone like **** and the weekends are a thing i quit playing.
Even with in FM24 with 20 country's selected its faster then WEF24 with 5 country's

i try every setup, try to use cheat engine for speed hack but it keeps the same.
is it the game ? ore ?

It does sound slow esepecially if the games tells you with the smiley at the beginning that you selected an proper number of leagues.

We Are Football also saves like 15 GB on c: / Windows partition. Is it full? Or do you have like 30 gb on both the installation folder and the windows partition?

Yeah at the beginning it says recom 127 but i only select 5, so yeah its slow, my space is 960 SSD an still a lot of space on it "400GB" dont know why it is so slow its a fresh windows 10 installation. lik i say FM24 is like many ppl know its a slow game but even that is faster then wef2024 and thats not a good sign. your game is very fast ?

Hi, the game should never take that long to calculate a week. This is probably a memory issue and a lot of swapping must go on. In your case I would not even reduce the number of leagues. When you play with our database you should select them all as a start. It might help to test the following things: - Switch off VSync if activated, - Try to switch of the autosaves to make sure this is not the reason, - Check your memory and and increase your swap file to at least 16GB. If there are still problems - where exactly is the week slow? Every day? On match days? At the end of the week? Cheers, Gerald

first thanks for the reply, i habe done all the things tou say, swap file "virtual mem" set to 16GB, auto save etc but on the weekends its stil very slow with your own DB and 5 country selected. i try all country's and its make no diffr. i have We are football buyed some time ago and on that game i dont have that problem. I play heave games on my pc with no problems so dont tink my mem is stuck. FM24 is notice as a slow game but like i say even that its fast compare to WEF. but hey i love WEF more haha its a great game! i like even the 3D option even it dont look like 2024 i still love it and have great potential.

So after testing en a new windows i check some things and now i know where the delay is coming from, as soon i use a graphics pack like badges or faces thats more then 20k its getting realy realy slow even on a new clean windows installation.

I delete badged and all that stuff and its fast realy fast, when i use only badged is oke but when i use badges, cities, portait file then is getting realy slow, well hope you have something on this info.

I have that problem too.
I have 8 GB of RAM and it worked great until the preliminary round of my 2nd season, but at some point it got slow. The week is going great and at a really pleasant pace - not extremely fast, but I didn't expect that with my PC. On the weekend or when there is a game coming up, it often takes 1-2 minutes for the game or game day to open. But that wasn't the case in season 1 - what can you do? I've already turned off autosave - that's not the problem.

Play with the original data including the images? Is that why?

Das Problem hab ich auch.
Habe 8 GB Arbeitsspeicher und es hat bis zur Vorrunde meiner 2. Saison super geklappt, aber irgendwann wurde es langsam. Die Woche läuft super durch und das in einem wirklich angenehmen Tempo - nicht rasend schnell, aber das habe ich mit meinem PC nicht erwartet. Am Wochenende bzw. wenn ein Spiel ansteht, dauert es oft 1-2 Minuten bis sich das Spiel bzw. der Spieltag öffnet. Das war aber in Saison 1 noch gar nicht - was kann man da machen? Autosave hab ich bereits ausgeschalten - an dem liegt es schon mal nicht.

Spiele mit den Originaldaten inkl. der Bilder? Liegt es daran?

If it is slower then Football Manager 2024 that thats a Huge problem. Try to get rid of the grahpics addons like player pics and stuff it will be 80% faster.
