Help with Underground Caverns

I can't have sound on my computer, so it makes the underground cavern part impossible. Does anyone have a solution on how to find Sherlock? I've been randomly guessing paths using the "Q" button to "hear" Sherlock, and I still can't get past this part.

Any help would be great.

You don't need to hear him. When you press Q, you can see sound waves coming from cavern. Follow them and you fin Sherlock.
