DLC side quests

I wanted to know if the side quests from dlc are missable or not. And how do you get them, just by playing or you need to interact with something. And in which chapters do they appear. (I'm asking because I don't want to miss any of them.)

Hello! You can miss them sometimes! They present in chapter 1,2,3,4.

These are the side quests from DLC:

-The Dreams of Children (Chapter 1)
-The Haunted House (Chapter 2)
-The Silver Tide (Chapter 2)
-The Other Gods
-The Frogs in the Walls
-The Doomed Folk

I only played 2 chapters and haven't found all of the side quests yet. Hopefully I didn't miss any because we cannot return to most of the locations after we finish the chapters. You need to interact with the side quests and you will most likely come across with them accidentally.

Because I'm interesting in a completionist run as well, "The Frogs in the Walls" is in Chapter 3.

It can be completed in first part of the Chapter, during gameplay on Shrelock Holmes.

It really good thing that you can play in all chapters:), so you can easy get missable achievements or missable cases:)

How to start -The Dreams of Children (Chapter 1)?

The Dreams of Children- Chapter One. You have to find one of several dolls. I found the first one while following tracks after unlocking the gate in the backyard.

The Silver Tide- Chapter Two. At the entrance to the shanytown area, there are several people on the edge of the water, gathered around a sick man. Talk to them to start the quest.

Haunted House- Chapter Two. As you explore, you'll overhear two people talking about a haunted warehouse. The quest starts automatically when you hear them.

The Frogs in the Walls- Chapter Three. There are five documents scattered around the building while playing as Holmes. I believe I found the first one near the entrance to Ward B, but I'm not 100% sure. I think there's one somewhere near the laundry as well. Picking any of them up will start the quest.

The Doomed Folk- Chapter Four. There are wanted posters scattered around town. Pick one up to start the quest. There's one on the front of the harbor master's building.

The Other Gods- Chapter Four. There is a man outside a house in the Fisherman's Quarter talking about how he's going to die. He'll give the quest.

I hope this helps! I tried not to go into too many details, in order to avoid spoilers. I was looking for this answer this morning, and I never found it, so now that I've played through the quests, I decided to be the answers I want to see in the world, lol.

I can't find the last clue/part of "The Silver Tide"...I found the end of the trail, and 2/3 of the clues in the water but can't find the last one...help?
