2. There are ways to stay for free.
3. Skill tree should be re-spec to deal with specific combat.
4. For the woodcutter's quest, get yourself into the middle to tank the hits, the woodcutter will be out from the danger zone in his first turn.
Once you leave for one of the cities you can then visit the dice gambling and quick-save, place a bet on a number, and then reload if the dice betray you to save-scum as much funds as you have patience for.
You can recruit the lady who runs the inn and after that sleep there for free. She also makes food for you every day that restores 10 stamina.
Once you have access to the dice gambling it is pretty easy to get enough money that 200 coin is no longer a major concern.
Personally I am a fan of the Wind tree due to the boost to action speed and movement range. It is really helpful to be able to close the distance to a strong enemy and land attacks and then get out of their attack range once their turn begins.
From my personal experience, having a character with high Dexterity and focusing on the Wind passive tree meant I could get within range of the enemies and attack multiple times before they even got a turn. I did also spend a fair bit of time killing snakes and boars so I was reasonably high level and had raised up my Martial Arts reasonably high for the extra stats.
One thing I did do before my playthrough to get extra achievement points and unlocks for my proper playthrough was to create a character who ignored the 2 women at the start, went to the temple and slept straight to day 100. I took the sleep experience passive at character creation and took all the passive related to a stat (Strength for example) and then slept for 100 days. The sleep exp got me to level 30 and allowed me to get a stat to 15 for the additional achievement.
Thanks that was very helpful, i usually choose the Lone Wanderer perk so i didn't wanna recruit the Inn Lady at first. Does the passive still count if i recruit her but have her not participate in battles? Or should i use a full party at the beginning for more achievements maybe?
I'm not sure about that passive as I haven't tried it yet.
That said, you can get your own piece of land later on and I have seen it mentioned here that you can leave companions there and it won't count towards the passive.
You can get the piece of land by going to Daling City once you get the invitation to the auction there and helping out the auction house owner. You do need to be at Fame 3 or 4 if I remember correctly, although there might be alternative trigger conditions as well.
Just kick her out of your party after you rest, she'll be back at the inn and you can just invite > sleep > kick each time you need to rest.
Bah, yall too old, just train ur a"*es before something, i trained till i could defeat any npc easy at the start with only the skill that come with the weapon to tier 9, i only got to namelass village after i could kill all boars without dying once
