Nameless Village Hidden Basement

I've read a few guides which have referenced a hidden basement in the Nameless Village. but for the life of me I have not be able to find it. Can someone elaborate where it is, or how to access it if it's not available without unlocking it some way?

Do I have to do something for him? I found his fan, but other than that haven't done much with the Nameless Village. Does my reputation have to be at a certain level?

pre 1.0 version, it was triggered by rep and time... now post 1.0 it doesnt trigger so far, i wonder what changes as well

I've completed this quest before giving the elder his fan. I suspect it has to do with your relation with the NPCs of Nameless Village because the elder will usually say (paraphrased)you're the first outsider in years to be respected by the villagers before handing out the quest to you. I have about 15 NPCs with maxed relationship.

You can postpone this quest to be done at a later time, because you'll need machinery skills to unlock the basement and about four to five purple tier keys to access the treasure.

Can anyone tell me where the basement is? I've triggered the quest, and I feel like I've smashed every pot. His house is to the right of the farm and left of the fishing spot correct?

Honestly can't find this pot people are talking about.

Honestly can't find this pot people are talking about.

His house is located in the North, next to the farm. Within the compound, there are two buildings, it's the one to the left.
