Maiden House Lowly Status

After resolving Maiden House Puzzle, the owner asked me to rid her of her lowly status through the prefect of Lin'an. But I couldn't since I'm apparently still an Ordinary Person despite already being Royal Son in Law by marrying Duke Kang Sister. How to finish this quest really?

Go to Prefect, ask him. You will need 1 of the following Traits/Item to prove your status:
Guerrilla General (Promotion during the Ye Family Quest Line)
Imperial Scholar (Top Achiever Trait)- 3 Exams and Emperor Meeting is needed, Character Creation Trait does not count
Jianghu Master - Both Ending and Character Creation Traits will count
Jianghu Conqueror - Both Ending and Character Creation Traits will count
Imperial Edict/Token - Consumed on use (Get from saving the Emperor Mission, can be used elsewhere)

I avoid the scholar route and Ye family means must joined the army, right? Is there any negative trait for joining the army?

You can't join the Yang army. I've never played the old man sect, so that might interfere since the objectives overlap. But I don't know.

I meant Ye army, I already got Ye Yinping and Ye Yun
You can join them by asking the father, but the army outfit is lame so I load the game :)

The one we got from auction house is kinda a minigame, assigning companions to facilities stuff
