Longevity Quest

The inner demon we have to beat in the longevity quest after dripping blood on the bronze tripod is totally unbeatable in 2560 free mode.
Anyone has any idea how to?

Cos of this I gave up and stopped playing. Already at 51 con, jut wanted to finish up and get the confucius skills. Moved on to Wandering Sword lol

I gave up on this quest in my run as well. I just skipped absorbing Cai and got peak of challenge true ending regardless :/

Down your hp to 1, and use reflect passive or skill, if both die you will complete the quest and not end game

Doesn't work. Had my hp at 1, wearing reflect armor. The inner demon will always hit first, and immediately register as my knock out. before he gets the reflected damage his innate regen kicks in.

There are 2 ways that I've manage to beat the Heart Demon:
1. Infinity Manual with face to face combat (unlearn all external skills, using low-level fist manual...) so you and Inner Demon both die in 1st hit, and you win.
2. Seven artifacts prayer beads (reduce damage from Heart Demon with Benevolence). You can either buy it from Shifa Temple (5000 points) or chose it at the character creation.

I'm really sorry, a friend on discord posted this video to help me as I was also having difficulty with this quest. When I saw the guy's post above, I was just trying to help him get over it
