Ye Yinping recruitment

As the title said, I'm stuck at recruiting Ye Yinping, there are 3 main events to recruit her but I failed/or skipped the challenge in Chuxiang. Now after I rescued marshal Ye and he's gone, she still says that she needs her father permission whilst her brother, Ye Yun, obeys me immediately. Is there a resolve to this or I missed my chance completely? Thank you all

Unless you can find a way to complete the challenge in Chuxiang, you've missed the chance to recruit her.
