Let's share tips on how you defeated Tong Daofu so that can everyone can benefit from them. I was at lvl 43. I brought three Fragrance preservation pills and twelve Stardew pills along just in case. I made sure my Forgotten Sword was was at full level(ten). This is very important as my Forgotten Sword would make him bleed a lot as time passed by. You can substitute the move with another move that makes him bleed slowly if you are not a sword user. My inner that I used was a full level ten Vairocana Solar Sutra.
At the third round, make sure to bring Zhang Lata along so even if your party almost gets wiped out, he can one shot all the other backup that Tong Daofu has brought along . But still all in all a close fight and I had to reload a saved game three or four times before defeating Tong Daofu. Please share how you defeated him in your own unique way as everyone's way of defeating him is different.
