In your opinion, best solo weapon choice?

Just curious since the game gives us the ability to basically go solo in our adventures what people choose for that sort of run. In a group your shortcomings can be made up for by teammates, but solo is solo.

Personally I like the fan. It's probably not the most powerful of the weapons but it's got great AoE coverage which evens the numbers game a bit I feel. Plus it's just not a common choice in martial arts focused games; so it's got the cool factor going for it as well.

Fan is the strongest Manual type. The best move deals more than 5x base damage as such it's rather commonly used on the highest difficulty, Freemode 2560

If you are on the Nightmare difficulty and below then anything works. The most difficult weapons are short(pen, fan, knife) and long(spear, stuff), But again, on nightmare and below anything works.
The easiest weapons are Fist and Sword, followed by Music. I finished my first playthrough, NIghmare difficulty with Qiuniu Zither.
Zither IMO has the best AOE coverage. You can clear almost any formations of enemies in two shots.

However you can have a couple of music wives to clear weak enemies at the end of the game. How good the weapon is reflects in solo fights.

Huh, I honestly just took it because it looked cool and different. Apparently that was the way to go this time. ^.^
