Weapon Sprite on model

A question, is there a way to make the weapon sprites of whichever weapon type Im carrying be seen on my model when Im just walking around? I hadnt noticed this at first because my first character was a fist character, but now I wanted to try out sword and Im walking around with nothing on me, while I have seen some cool npcs carrying their swords or other weapons on them. Is there something I have to do so my character seems the same as them?

Not really, apart from redrawing the sprites and make it a mod. Still, even if you did redraw a bunch of sprites, it would still remain static.

Long answer: Yes, but it's not interactive as what you want it to be

Despite what I said, joining the Taoist Sect does make your character have a sword on his back.
