Are the true animal rings worth it? Are they permanent or do you have to equip them?

I'm at the end game of my first playthrough. I feel like i don't really need some of the bonuses from these rings (not to mention i only have 3 Heaven Spirit Cards anyways) but i didn't know if there was anything special about them or how they work exactly. It doesn't say they are accessories so I assume the bonuses they provide are just permanent for your whole party then. I kind of doubt it but if you buy one would you be able to transfer it to a new character at all or unlock it as a starting item?

they are just support item, put them in treasure pavalion can help u make a smooth start in new run (for puzzle solving)

The homestead lets you cross-save items over to different characters (Grade A items, and Grade A manuals). I've used the true animal ring that gives 100% more jianghu knowledge for freedom runs. You can also duplicate items with the homestead treasury. Save, put something in the treasury, reload, and you have the item back in your inventory.
