Where to get some good early ones? I get the best will be from later on in the sects but im lvl 50 and all i have are what i started with and nine swords from langya

Langya Sword Pavillion sect and Taoist sect are the two main sword technique sources. You usually gain a manual (often purple quality) when you recruit someone who uses swords as well. The smith in Langya, the sick girl in the confucian temple, plant sect lady etc.

4. White cloud temple, this is obtained via quest

Curing the sick girl in the Confucianist sect will give you an orange (legendary) sword manual, and she even comes with an orange sword and armor equipped. She's probably the only source of an orange sword manual that you can get without joining a sect, or if you're still in the old man sect.
