(Spoiler) Can you get Bao Dating back?
Besides his synergy in homestead, I have lost track of a very important item (jade pendant from beginning of game). Ive checked everyone inventories and its nowhere to be found. The only things I can think of are:

A. Bao Dating had it on when he ran way after marriage. IDK why id equip it on him but im grabbing at straws here.
B. I accidentally sent someone to their original spot rather than homestead. Crew is large and I don't know who I'm missing if thats the case. (its not nameless master, checked that too)

I dont need it to finish the game, but its a wonderful item and one particular follower keeps running out of MP, and I wanted to equip it. Thats when I realized I'd lost track of it.

Was also wondering if theres a way to check all the people youve recruited, not just the ones in homestead. Would be a help locating if one really did get sent home by accident.

I've lost my Bao Dating as well, I just reload the previous save to prevent him from leaving. I'd rather he stays in my Homestead.

From online guides, the only way is to kill off Hua Siniang. Bao Dating will then appear in the world map with improved stats and new ultimate to avenge Hua Siniang's death. After defeating Bao Dating, he will die. So, I suspect you'll never get your items back from him.

i assumed as much. I was late enough in my first playthrough things were getting boring so I just "United" the world of Martial Arts. Sad thing is I will probably just cause him to leave again, lol... I like the bonded buff too much

Just put him in your Homestead. As long as he is not in your party together with Hua Siniang, that event will not be triggered.

Ah I thought this was the case.
Only ever have him in the party in the early portion after leaving Nameless Village, and have never had problems with him in the homestead compared to say with Generals son and his lackeys who will attack you if you enter the same location in the homestead after killing the General.

I guess if he never has to stand next to you two and witness it directly he can cope with his jealousy.
