once you leave you cannot return they give you sum stuff, tho i haven't tried it with swallow's nest but i tried it with everyone else

It is possible if you have this mod.
You need 1 Guan to leave and then you need to join again.

Yes, so also use this mod. It will unblock collecting achievements. I tested it during two playthroughs. Got achievements without any problem. It will still warn you in the beginning of the game, but pay no attention.
